Dr. Knöner is a German patent attorney (Patentanwalt) and a professional representative before the European Patent Office. He is further admitted as representative before the European IP Office (EUIPO). The drafting of patent applications and patent prosecution as well as the representation of clients in inter partes proceedings before the patent offices and the German patent court (Bundespatentgericht) are in the focus of Dr. Knöner’s work.
He has proven expertise in the fields of employee inventions and IP related transactions.
By building up an IP portfolio for a corporate unit of Siemens AG in an international setup, he has gained comprehensive practical experience in IP strategy and portfolio management.
Dr. Knöner loves to spend his spare time with his family. He is a water sports enthusiast and likes to climb a surfboard during his holidays and skiing in winter.
